One of my favorites was Sine, Cosine and Tangent. But I also got Larry, Curly and Moe. Not as cute, but funny! I like Ichi, Ni, San, too - 1, 2, 3 in Japanese.
One friend suggested using a favorite superhero or other such character and that gave me an idea.
When my oldest was about 4 years old, he loved "Toy Story." What boy doesn't love talking toys, especially ones that "fall with style!"
Anyway, when someone would ask him his name, his reply was "first name, middle name, full name, Buzz Light Year Superhero." And the family even called him that for years. Not to mention, he was Buzz Light Year for Halloween one year. So, I'm thinking "Buzz" for the oldest.
So now that Disney characters are in my head, it occurred to me how much my daughter loves Tinkerbell. I think she has every Tinkerbell movie on DVD. Granted there are only a few, but she has them all and watches them. And she was Tinkerbell for Halloween. Is there a trend, here?
|I like this clothed version of Tinkerbell.|
There you have it: Buzz, Tink and Lightning (because Lightning McQueen is a little long). Tell me what you think. I might just use Ichi, Ni, San, especially if Disney decides to knock on my door, but until then, I hope these nicknames work!
